Adelaide radio ratings: Hit 107 loses momentum after Amos, Cat and Angus fall back
Hit 107 was unable to sustain last month’s momentum as the final month of the Amos, Cat and Angus breakfast show saw it fall back in the sixth GfK radio ratings survey for the year.
The show saw a 0.8 point increase last month after it was axed due to “changing audience demographics” but this survey fell back 1.3 points to a 6.2% share for the slot.
Across the breakfast slot, FIVEaa’s David Pemberthy and Will Goodings continued their lead with a 1.0 point gain to take a 15.6% share in the 5.30 to 9am time, widening the gap over Mix102.3’s Jodie Oddy and Mark ‘Soda’ Soderstrom who dropped 0.8 for a 13.2% audience share.
Overall however, Mix 102.3 continued its lead of the Adelaide market despite a 1.5 point drop to a 13.6% share, beating out FIVEaa which also fell 0.3 points to 12.8%. ABC Adelaide however reversed several months decline, picking up 1.5 points a 10% share.
In the drive timeslot, MIx’s Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw beat out FIVEaa’s Stephen ‘Rowey’ Rowe and Mark Bickley’s sports show despite a 1.1 point fall to 13.5 % share. The AM show picked 0.8 points to take 13.0% of the audience.
Overall, the biggest fall for the month was Mix102.3’s fall of 1.5%, driven by a 2.6% fall in the morning and afternoon shows. along with ABC Adelaide’s 1.5% gain. Nova saw a fall of 1.1 points to 8.8% while Hit fell 0.2 points to 8.8% as well.
