Adelaide radio ratings: Mix102.3 loses market lead to 5AA
ARN’s Mix102.3 has lost its market lead in Adelaide, according to the latest radio ratings from Nielsen.
The station fell from 13.3% to 11.9% share, further than any other station, allowing 5AA – which grew fractionally by 0.2 percentage points – to claim the top spot.
Mix102.3 fell furthest at breakfast, when the Jodie, Mark and Snowy show runs, down 2.7 percentage points.
The ABC fared well, up from 10.8% to 12.2% share, and also leapfrogged Mix102.3, which is bumped down to third in the market.
A big result for DMG’s Nova in the Adelaide radio ratings saw the station overtake Today Network’s SAFM to claim fourth spot overall and second in the FM market.
Paul Jackson DMG Radio’s group program director said of Nova’s jump: “We’re up 1.6% share points, its the murder capital of the world and we’ve murdered them. Mix is down 1.4% share points, so you can see the trend in the movement.”
Nova 91.9 was the biggest climber in the survey, up 9.7% to 11.5% share from Monday to Sunday, while SAFM fell back from 10,5% to 9.6%.
