Air New Zealand named marketing team of the year at Travel Marketing Awards
Air New Zealand has won marketing team of the year at Mumbrella’s Travel Marketing Awards.
The inaugural awards took place at Sydney’s Four Season’s hotel and were presented by TV and radio personality and founder of Tribe, Jules Lund.
Ad Campaign of the Year went to True for Air New Zealand’s ‘A Better Way to Fly’, while Host won social idea of the year for Air New Zealand’s ‘Summer Wonderland’ with Qantas receiving a highly commended for its Gaynetto campaign.
PHD managed a win for Best Media Strategy for Air New Zealand’s ‘A word from Dave the goose’ while Starcom with Clemenger BBDO were highly commended for Vis ‘Visa Cross Border’.
The winner for Best Website went to Medium Rare Content Agency for Qantas, Qantas Travel Insider. Medium Rare secured two wins for the evening also taking home the Publication of the Year Award – while Jetstar Magazine Australia, Hardie Grant Media was highly commended.
Winning the PR Idea of the Year award was Frank PR for Travel Insurance Direst ‘Homesickness Hotline’ as Tourism Australia with The Crue for Noma Australia was highly commended.
Luxury Escapes won Best Use of Native or Content Marketing for Luxury Escapes The World’s Best Holidays as Cummins & Partners was highly commended for Tourism Western Australia’s Just Another Day in WA.
The Best Influencer Campaign Award had a highly commended which went to Contiki for No Regrets, Europe Launch, seeing Tourism Australia with The Cru for Noma Australia take home the trophy.
