‘Always Free. Always Entertaining’: ABC iview unveils new brand platform via Howatson+Company
Australia’s top on-demand free-to-air BVOD service, ABC iview, has released two new films via Howatson+Company.
Directed by Freddy Mandy, the ads subvert well-known tropes from popular genres, such as reality TV and teen sci-fi.
The characters express their sorrow over a viewer cancelling their subscription to the streaming service, as they can now access world-class content on ABC iview for free and without any ads.
‘Always Free. Always Entertaining’ was born from the fact that streaming prices are at an all-time high, and the cost-of-living crisis is in full swing, forcing millions of Aussies to decide which streaming subscription to cancel.
As a free streaming service with world-class drama, comedy, sport, news, kids shows, and more, ABC iview is the one streamer Aussies ‘never need to cancel’.
The campaign will run on BVOD, cinema, pre-roll, digital and social, supported by OOH.
