Amaysim launches entirely AI-generated television commercial
Amaysim has launched its first television commercial entirely generated by AI, developed by a two-person in-house creative team.
With the aim of setting a “new benchmark” for creative innovation in the telecommunications industry, the campaign marks Amaysim’s first integration of generative AI into its mainstream brand marketing.
Because nothing says pushing creative boundaries like using ugly uncanny AI. What a joke, whole company should fold.
What is this ad? Apart from Ai Schlop?
The hands!
Would you greenlight this?
I’m so damn ashamed to be a customer of amaysim. So great to know that ethics don’t play a part when money is on the line. Also, I really don’t think you can call people who write prompts to produce boring, unoriginal, and flat out ugly videos a ‘creative team’.
Only here to look at the comments, AI generated ad reeks of corner cutting and being cheap, like they can’t afford it?? Not a good look in my opinion.
Been seeing this ad and noticed something was weird about it so I googled whether it was AI. People notice.
Part two spot the mistakes
Crafted frame by frame into fingers seamlessly merged together. Shipped the AI slop with no care for detail. I’d be completely ashamed.
Complete slop. Shame AI is being used for creative tasks instead of boring administrative tasks. AI advertising makes a horrible impression on the younger generations who can spot it easily.
The general public won’t care that it’s AI or that the fingers blend together. This is an industry rag hence the comments.
Been seeing this on youtube, it’s so gross
Apart from being average – it sounds as though the prompts used became the script.
I’ve seen this movie before…
Looks and feels absolutely amateur and awful. I hope the two “in-house creatives” get replaced by AI to teach them a lesson.
AI can be a powerful tool and help create effective final products – but this ain’t it.
Did they have to cut corners so hard that they couldn’t use the latest models or techniques?
Do they not have a premium subscription to help them write a better narrative and script?
It’s so static. So ick.
It’s really sad to see, as an Amaysim customer and former employee.
