Andrew Davie to run Wunderman

andrew davieY&R Brands has looked within the group to find a replacement boss for Wunderman Australia after the abrupt departure of Sydney MD Jo Lloyd earlier this year.

Andrew Davie, currently based in New York, is returning to Australia for the role.

Most recently, Davie ran Red Fuse Communications which services WPP client Colgate-Palmolive. Before that he was account MD for Y&R in the US.

Davie’s last role in the Australian market was as managing director of Photon Group’s integrated communications division from 2008 to 2009. He also spent four years at Y&R Hong Kong. Earlier in his career he spent three years as a marketing exec with Y&R Brands’ now defunct The Campaign Palace.

Davie will run Wudnerman in Sydney, Melbourne and NZ. Histroically ythe agency has specialised in DM. Davioe’s brief will be to boost its credentials in digital and CRM.
