Ardent doubles headcount and welcomes new partners
Full service agency Ardent has doubled its headcount with numerous appointments, and has welcomed new partners including Rado, Whiddon and the Attic Group.
The announcement:
Based in North Sydney, Ardent has been igniting marketing innovation since its inception as a full-service agency in 2016. This year has been no exception, with the agency acquiring a slew of new partners including Swiss watch market leader Rado, innovative care provider, Whiddon, and Australia’s original attic company, the Attic Group.
Whiddon has appointed Ardent for an integrated always-on marketing approach across all key verticals including creative, paid media, SEO, media planning and buying, and public relations. The development of a new brand value proposition kick-started the dynamic partnership, with the production of an upcoming regional television commercial that will bookend the launch of the ‘Looking Forward’ brand campaign.
The Attic Group is supported by several of Ardent’s departments, building a strong omnichannel strategy and strengthening their national footprint as market leaders. Further leveraging Ardent’s strong experience in the luxury segment, the paid performance team has been engaged to bolster Swiss watch brand Rado’s resonance in the Australian market.
Speaking to the agency growth, Ardent managing director, Danny Massa said: “We are proud to work as an extension of our partners in the ever-changing marketing landscape. Our team is made up of the perfect balance of specialists and generalists and that is how we have been able to make a mark in a diverse range of industries in a way that other agencies haven’t been able to. It is this strategic thinking and a commitment to transform our partners marketing ethos that has driven our thriving agency on a continuous growth trajectory.”
The continued expansion of Ardent’s service offering has fostered exponential internal team growth. The agency has experienced a fifty percent increase to the overall headcount, adding six new team members since the start of 2023.
Amin Kiapour joins the agency as Ardent’s head of web development, playing a pivotal role in providing the agency partners with access to the support of an onsite full stack web developer with over 10 years of technical expertise.
Several new appointments across the agency’s senior management include Elisenda Picart Valls as SEO director, Shannon Muscolino as public relations director, and Domenico Marcoccia as paid director.
Digital director, Sonam Kumar returned from maternity leave earlier this year, further strengthening the leadership of Ardent’s paid performance team, now comprising of ten skilled performance specialists.
Massa attributes the success of the agency to its integrated culture: “Our belief is always to promote internally where possible as we know this strengthens the culture of our agency. It is a testament to our continued emphasis on personal and professional development and the hard work of our team. We’ve had team members move departments based on their skill sets and desire to continually evolve. This has been crucial in building a team with skills and expertise unique to Ardent and to the benefit of our diverse client base.”
Among Ardent’s current clients are a diverse mix of Australian and International businesses and not-for-profits including Best Gift Group, Gregory Jewellers, Raymond Weil, Catholic Healthcare, Pallion brands including ABC Bullion and Custodian Vaults, WOBI, World Business Forum – NYC, SYD, Madrid and London, Megasealed, Howards Storage World, TradieSpec, Loreto Normanhurst and Loreto Marryatville.
