Asics appoints Starcom

Sports brand Asics has appointed Starcom as its media agency in Australia and globally following a pitch.

Starcom will handle the brand’s communications strategy as well as all media planning and buying, along with data and analytics.

Chris Nolan, Starcom MediaVest Australia CEO, said: “We are very much looking forward to working with the Asics team in Australia – it’s an innovative brand and it’s great to be partnering with them.”

The agency will work in partnership with Asics’ existing global creative agency 180 Amsterdam to develop communicationsacross 14 markets globally.

Asics also works locally with M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment and VML.
