Blogging and programmatic sessions added to Mumbrella Travel Marketing Summit

Travel SummitA second stream has been added to the Mumbrella Travel Marketing Summit which takes place in Sydney later this month, with sessions on programmatic advertising and blogging and instragramming added to the schedule.

Lorraine Murphy, head of relationships at blogging community The Remarkables Group, will be among the panelists discussing the impact and best practices of blogging and instagramming, which are increasingly being seen by marketers as agile ways to reach new audiences.

Murphy will be joined on the panel by Tourism and Events Queensland global publicity director Bruce Wallace, instagrammer Matt Glastonbury and blogger Lorraine Elliott, publisher and editor of Not Quite Nigella.

Meanwhile, Marc Lomas, managing director of technology firm Cadreon, will present travel case studies as he delves into the world of programmatic marketing in a session after lunch.

The addition of a second stream builds on an already strong line-up of speakers of the inaugural Travel Marketing Summit which includes Helloworld chief marketing officer Kim Portrate, Flight Centre senior executive Keith Stanley, Qantas’ brand marketing head Olivia Wirth and Tourism Australia CMO Lisa Ronson.

The one-day event, designed to explore the challenges and opportunities faced by travel marketers in the digital age, will take place at the Amora Hotel in Sydney on April 22.
