Brisbane North PHN wants to help people ‘find the reasons to stay’ in suicide prevention campaign
Creative agency New World Order has created a digital campaign for Brisbane North PHN, joining the fight against suicide.
The campaign seeks to help people find ‘reasons to stay’ by stimulating conversations that encourage those suffering to talk to someone who can help.
Thanks for the coverage of our new campaign. Please note that your headline and lead paragraph incorrectly refers to us as ‘Brisbane Health PHN’. We are Brisbane North PHN.
Hi Simon,
Thanks for your comment – this has been fixed.

Thanks Hannah, you are way too efficient 🙂
It’s excellent to see so many organisations inspiring safe conversations around the issue of suicide. We’ve been recording a series of podcasts for Lifeline, Holding onto Hope, in which suicide survivors talk about what happened to make them feel so desperate and how they’ve found hope and a reason to stay.
It’s estimated that at least 60,000 Australians a year attempt suicide and everyone we’ve interviewed has said the same thing: “I didn’t want to die. I just wanted my pain to end.”
There is no single solution but there’s no doubt that equipping people to have the conversation can help.
Great campaign NWO. You’re Doing Good while Doing Good.
