Carolyn McMahon appointed Honda Australia chief marketer

Honda has appointed long-serving employee Carolyn McMahon to head up its marketing function in Australia.

McMahon takes over the role of GM of sales and marketing from Stephen Collins, who has run Honda Australa’s marketing since October 2011, when he was also appointed company director.

McMahon will work with agencies including Leo Burnett Melbourne, which took on the account from the now-defunct DraftFCB Melbourne in August last year.

Collins said in a statement: “Carolyn brings extensive experience in the automotive industry. Her strong working relationships mean she will be a great leader in our team.”

McMahon joined Honda Australia in 1995 and has worked in business services, administration, fleet and latterly as southern and western regional manager.
