Cbus Super nabs new head of marketing from Suncorp Bank

Cbus Super, the industry superannuation fund for the construction and building industries, has appointed a new group head of brand and marketing who is set to join next month from Suncorp Bank, Mumbrella can reveal.

Potta Findikidis will lead the super fund’s marketing efforts, after seven years in various executive marketer roles at Suncorp Bank.

She brings over 20 years experience to the role, including customer and brand strategy, product and digital marketing, comms operations and customer experience.

“Group head of brand & marketing is a critical role for Cbus as Australia’s leading specialist super fund with a brand and legacy our members are incredibly proud of,” Cbus Super’s deputy CEO and chief member officer, Marianne Walker, told Mumbrella.

“I’m delighted to welcome Potta to our team in our 40th anniversary year as we focus on our story of strong long term returns and investing back into our member’s sectors.

“Potta’s leadership as an innovator with a keen member focus will build strong opportunities for communicating with existing and new members on their accumulation and retirement outcomes.”

Findikidis told Mumbrella: “I’m sad to be leaving my amazing team at Suncorp Bank, but at the same time, thrilled to be joining Cbus, especially at such an exciting time for the industry.”

Findikidis will start the new role on April 15.
