The workspace is set to be designed by Bates Smart, the smart workplace firm that designed Clemenger Group’s new Sydney workspace, as well as Nine’s new Denison St location, and Publicis Groupe’s Sydney offices.

CEO of Clemenger Group, Les Timar said that the new workspace will “nurture creativity” and create stronger collaboration across the group, as it defines the future its work in a “new era of technology, sustainability and flexibility”.

“It will offer Clemenger Group a new-age environment for our companies to work together and provide the most effective solutions for our clients, while allowing our people to create best-in-class capabilities.”

Clemenger Group said the new loft-style workplace will be “far from the traditional CBD office”, also looking to follow the same path the Clemenger Group Sydney offering has taken with its new combined workspace in Millers Point.

Chairman of Clemenger Group, Robert Morgan said the group is excited to “return to the heart of Melbourne – the home of Clemenger”, where the founders opened John Clemenger Advertising in 1946, “in the basement of a building in Bourke Street.”
“We are equally proud to be at the forefront of revitalising Melbourne’s business landscape after the pandemic, becoming the only major marketing and communication company to reside in the city.”

“Clemenger Group has served the Melbourne community for more than 75 years and we are delighted to help bring the city back to life and back to the Melbourne that we all know and love.”
