Clems restructures its leadership

Clemenger Group has made some leadership changes – including promoting Peter Biggs to the role of CEO at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne.

The announcement:

Executive Chairman of the Clemenger Group, Robert Morgan, has announced some important changes at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and Clemenger Proximity Australia.

Recognising James McGrath’s superb creative and cultural leadership of the Agency, he has been appointed Chairman of Clemenger BBDO Melbourne. “This role really gives local expression to his national role as Creative Chairman of Clemenger BBDO Australia and New Zealand,” said Morgan.

James will continue to concentrate primarily on matters creative, working closely with Executive Creative Director Ant Keogh.

Peter Biggs, currently Managing Director of Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, will become the CEO. “Peter is a unique leader and we are fortunate to have a person of his calibre leading the Agency,” said Morgan.

So that Peter can concentrate on building the business and developing strategies for the future in Melbourne, Jonathan Isaacs, currently the Financial Director of Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, will be promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Clemenger Proximity will have a National Managing Director, a role newly created for current Clemenger BBDO Melbourne Deputy Managing Director, Elizabeth Fulcher. She will be in charge of developing the brand and skill sets of Proximity in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.

“We have a very strong leadership team in Melbourne and these changes to our leadership group will ensure we continue to lead the pack in Melbourne and beyond. I congratulate everyone,” Morgan said.
