Clive Palmer billboard changed to carry message about ‘bread’ instead
Clive Palmer may be dropping record amounts of cash on his election campaign advertising, but the message might be getting lost.
Dr Mumbo was casting his eye over Chippendale this afternoon, and discovered Palmer’s ‘Make Australia Great’ sign has taken on a rather different message.
It now reads ‘Make Australia Bread’.
As much as Dr Mumbo loves his gluten-filled foods, he will admit he doesn’t quite know what this means. Palmer, however, likely has bigger advertising fish to fry – including threats of legal action.
A few months ago in the Sydney suburb of Randwick the sign was changed to “Make Australia Eat Again”.

I’ve seen a few versions of this one including: Make Australia Fat

There’s another one that was updated to “Make Australia Eat Bananas” and bananas were also graffitied into his hands.
I for one am looking forward to what other creative ideas we’ll see on his bilboards.

Bread? I thought Clive’s problem was carpets. His jingle says “Australia’s not going to carpet anymore”!
