With Collective branches into content production with new division

With Collective has launched a content production division, hiring former M&C Saatchi producer, Iain Todd, to lead the business.

The agency has been rapidly expanding since it was taken over by Dentsu Aegis in September. Expansion has included adding two new heavyweight creative teams.

The decision to move into content production adds to its existing capabilities in development and user experience.

CEO Justin Hind said that the ability to adapt would be a key element in the future success of agencies.

“The ability to constantly measure, adapt and execute creative campaigns is a key part of the future,” Hind said.

“This move helps us live up to our promise of ‘ending the guessing’.

“Clients hunger to be much more relevant and continuous in the news feed.”

He said With would not duplicate resources it could access through the Dentsu network.

Chief operating officer, Dom Hind, said the move into content production was the right next step.

“We’ve always had an extremely talented Dev and UX team as, unlike a lot of agencies, we don’t outsource digital production,” Hind said.

“Content production is the natural extension for us, and will be executed to the same high standard.”

Chief creative officer Steve Coll said while the agency was bringing content production in-house, it would continue to work with outside providers.

Justin Hind also hinted that there was more expansion of the agency to come.

“We are just testing the water on how clients feel about us moving into that space,” he said.
