Cooking with gas! MasterChef wins entertainment 3 days in a row; Nine takes Tuesday

MasterChef on Ten won entertainment again on Tuesday night, however, it was Nine that once again celebrated an overall network share win.

The episode aired to an average of 587,000 metro viewers, followed by The Chase Australia which brought in 555,000 metro viewers.

Next in entertainment was Seven’s Home and Away which pulled in 475,000 metro viewers, followed by Australian Ninja Warrior with a metro audience of 470,000 viewers.

Australian Story on ABC was next grabbing 513,000 metro viewers, while Nine’s Hot Seat brought in an average metro audience of 482,000.

Hot Seat on Nine brought in 469,000 metro viewers, while Ten’s The Cheap Eats saw an average of 387,000 metro viewers.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 28 June, Seven News was the top program nationally across linear, with 1.575 million viewers, including 39,000 on BVOD, and an uplift of 3%. The program with the greatest uplift in the top 20 programs was The Rookie on Seven with an uplift of 73%, watched by 383,000 total TV viewers, and 46,000 on BVOD.

Seven News was the #1 metro program on Tuesday with 968,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 947,000 metro viewers. Nine News was next with 938,000 metro viewers, and Nine News at 6:30 with 927,000 viewers.

A Current Affair brought in 719,000 metro viewers, ABC News saw 596,000 tune in, and ABC’s 7:30 News had 470,000 viewers in all five major capital cities.

As mentioned, in overall network share for Tuesday, Nine won the night with a 30.7% network share streaking ahead of Seven’s 24.8%, Ten finished with a 20.2% share, while ABC had a 14.2% share.
