Crabb on her rich new ABC boss and hard-up Nine
To The Walkleys, where departing SMH writer Annabel Crabb wasn’t scared to poke fun at her new boss.
Talking about The ABC’s Mark Scott and the Randwick venue, she said: “Why does he look so confident? Perhaps he’s already used your money to buy every horse in the race.”
And she added: “This year the Gold Walkley will be presented in certificate form as the Nine network haven’t got it back from the pawnbrokers yet.”
