With more than 15 years of experience managing major transformation and change projects, Dagli will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of dentsu ANZ’s integrated people agenda, bringing together capabilities from across media, creative, digital, data, and CXM in one unified approach.

She will focus on building dentsu’s talent capability for tomorrow’s business needs, including driving dentsu’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and building a culture that celebrates differences and nurtures a philosophy of creativity everywhere.

Earlier this week, speaking at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Dentsu global CEO, Wendy Clark, and global chief creative officer, Fred Levron revealed a new global full-service creative agency, Dentsu Creative.

In the ANZ region, as of 21 June the brands BWMIsobar, DentsuMB will no longer exist, and Haystac and Cox Inall will start to consolidate, then retire in three months to come under the umbrella of a full-service creative agency, Dentsu Creative, led by CEO Kirsty Muddle. Cox Inall Ridgeway will remain a standalone brand for Dentsu in the region.

Of the appointment, Angela Tangas, CEO dentsu ANZ, said: “As an integrated teaming business with creativity at our core, we are committed to prioritising best-in-class talent development and people solutions, and in many respects, we’re well ahead of our peer group. Ferrah has an impressive background in designing high-performing, integrated teams, proven to drive horizontal growth and solve the problems of tomorrow, today. Joining us, she will continue to champion our dentsu University, leadership development, and broader people initiatives, while unlocking new ways to attract, retain, and grow great talent ensuring our people have the best years of their career with us.”

Speaking on her appointment, Ferrah Dagli commented: “I am thrilled to be joining as dentsu’s ANZ chief people officer. During these disruptive and uncertain times – nurturing and purposefully developing talent and prioritising a strong, inclusive, and diverse culture is more important than ever. Dentsu’s talent-first mindset, focus on high performance, and rich heritage culture (comprised of good humans!) are what attracted me to this role. I look forward to working with the entire leadership team to help seize the opportunities and build on the high-performing team already in place as we take the business to the next phase of growth.”

Prior to ANZ, Dagli held roles internationally with Willis Towers Watson and HSBC in London. She will join the dentsu ANZ leadership team, commencing Monday 4 July, and will report directly to Luke Speers who has been appointed chief people officer, dentsu APAC.
