Fitzy & Wippa’s panel operator Josiah Shala heads to Hit96.9 Shepparton
Josiah Shala, the panel operator for Nova Entertainment’s Sydney breakfast show with Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli has landed his first on air-gig at Southern Cross Austereo’s Hit96.9.
Shala worked as a producer at DMG Radio – now Nova Entertainment – for eight years before becoming a panel operator at Fitzgerald and Wipfli’s show five years ago.

He will be joined y at Southern Cross Austereo by Elly Chaney – a former panel operator from Perth – on Goulburn Valley’s Hit network breakfast show.
“I’m incredibly grateful to SCA for the opportunity and can’t wait to get stuck in,” Shala said.
Chaney joked: “I’m really excited to work with Josiah, but there’s no way I’m letting him near the desk.”
The duo will be heard from 6am-9am on The Goulburn Valley’s Hit96.9 from June 21.
