Forethought elevates Sacha Cody to GM client success role

Marketing analytics and strategy advisory firm Forethought has promoted Sacha Cody to general manager of client success after two and half years as senior director.

The role will see Cody lead Forethought’s APAC expansion, while also continuing to provide high-level strategic guidance to key clients, driving success for the firm’s existing clientele.

“Sacha is one of the most trusted and relied upon marketing strategy leaders that we have at Forethought, with significant expertise across brand, communications and CX,” said Darren Stein, Forethought global CEO.

The former CEO of Omnicom’s data marketing agency Analect, Stein was appointed as Forethought’s first global CEO last year, as the firm sought to further its international expansion.

“Not only does Sacha have extensive experience helping senior executives make strategic and profitable decisions across their brand, communications and CX offerings, he has worked in senior roles across APAC including in China and Hong Kong,” he continued. “Sacha is the perfect choice to lead our Asia-Pacific expansion and has already gained the plaudits of several of our key clients in the region”.

Cody brings nearly two decades of experience across market research and consultancy and academia, himself an accomplished academic and author on consumer behaviour. His studies have particularly focused on China, having published several books on contemporary Chinese consumerism as well as holding a PhD on the subject.

Commenting on his appointment, Cody said: “I’m excited to be given this opportunity to partner with our strategic clients to unlock growth, by leveraging Forethought’s set of capabilities across brand, communications and CX”.

“I’m very confident I can lead and develop our Asia-Pacific business and continue to help senior executives across the region make effective marketing and strategy decisions”.
