Freeview boss Robin Parkes to depart

Freeview boss Robin Parkes is to move on, the TV marketing body has announced.  

Freeview chairman Kim Dalton said: “After three successful years at Freeview she feels it is time to seek a new challenge. “I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding job Robin has done in taking Freeview from an idea and an aspiration to the established and acknowledged consumer and industry brand and operation that it is today.”

There was no immediate word on Parkes’ next move.

Tim Burrowes

Tim Burrowes founded Mumbrella in 2008. He worked on Mumbrella until 2021. At various points he was editor, content director and editor-at-large. He returned to Mumbrella as Publisher in January 2025
