GNP hires Dr Chris Westinghouse

Recruitment agency GNP has appointed Dr Chris Westinghouse to the role of principal consultant.

The announcement:

Dr Iraj Ghadiminejad, Managing Director of GNP Australia, a specialist recruitment agency for the scientific, medical, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, today announced the appointment of Dr Chris Westinghouse as a Principal Consultant, and the expansion of GNP’s service offering to include middle and senior roles in the public relations and communications arenas.

“Chris comes to us after a truly global career, where he has been intimately involved in some of the most exciting communications programs of recent times, ranging from the release of Nelson Mandela from prison, to advocacy around the issues of HIV/AIDS in Africa and spokespersonship for the world’s leading pharmaceuticals company, Pfizer. He is a strategic scientist by training and has practiced persuasive communications for almost 30 years. We are delighted to welcome Chris to join our team at GNP and to expand our professional expertise to both employers and candidates alike.”

Dr Westinghouse expressed the view that “nobody has a better understanding of the requirements for a particular career role than a person who has spent a lifetime in that same kind of role. It’s the basis on which GNP Specialist Recruitment Australia was founded and operates to this day. I‘m excited to be able to plough back a little of my experience into the profession I love, by helping to staff it with first class candidates. I’ve been the client and the job-seeker many times over the last 30 years –now I’ll be playing the role of broker and bringing talent and opportunity together. Iraj’s team at GNP seems to be a brilliant place from which to be doing that.”
