Virginia Hyland, who was appointed CEO of Havas Media Group in November 2020, said she’s excited to be able to appoint an internal applicant for the role.

“Danni has driven value for clients time and again through her proven ability to discover what unlocks ideas that influence audiences to act.

“We’re so pleased to be promoting from within, seeing her hard work and strategic expertise being recognised with this promotion.”

Dimitri said she’s looking forward to helping Hyland shape the direction of the agency.

“This is such an exciting time for Havas Media. I’m proud to be able to help Virginia shape the agency’s direction in terms of how we develop our people and strategic product for our growing portfolio of clients.”

Hyland replaced Matt Houltham at the independent media agency, who departed the business after the purchase and integration of Hyland’s own agency into the Havas Media Group.

Havas Media has been appointed to the media accounts of The Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and TK Maxx so far in 2021.
