Have You Been Paying Attention takes top entertainment spot as Nine wins overall share

An episode of Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention topped entertainment programming last night, as the Nine Network was the winner of overall share.

The episode brought in 682,000 metro viewers and topped all three key advertising demos, with Seven’s The Chase Australia following on 596,000 metro viewers.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 30 May, Seven News was the top program nationally across linear, with 1.724 million viewers, including 43,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 3%. Episode 2 of 9-1-1 achieved the highest uplift of the evening, with 89%, viewed by 390,000 total TV viewers.

Next in entertainment was MasterChef Australia, which brought in another 557,000 metro viewers for Ten, then ABC’s Australian Story on 544,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven’s Home and Away, with 496,000 metro viewers.

Nine’s Hot Seat followed closely with 457,000 metro viewers, ahead of the network’s Celebrity Apprentice Australia, which brought in a further 386,000 metro viewers. Seven’s Big Brother had 378,000 metro viewers.

Overall, Seven News topped programming with 1.038 million metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6.30 with 989,000 metro viewers. Nine News was next with 929,000 metro viewers, then Nine News at 6:30 with 904,000 metro viewers. A Current Affair on Nine brought in 683,000, ABC News hit 648,000 metro viewers and 7:30 on ABC brought in a further 580,000 metro viewers. The Project on Ten had 389,000 metro viewers.

As mentioned, the Nine Network took out overall share for the evening with 27.0%, followed by the Seven Network at 25.4%. Network 10 was next with 21.9%, followed by ABC with 21.9%.
