The ninth season of Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? (HYPBA) delivered a win among entertainment programming for the network on Monday night.

It was watched by 749,000 metro viewers and also taking out all three key advertising demographics on the night, and was the #5 program overall.

Hosted by Tom Gleisner and featuring a revolving door of popular guests alongside Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang, the second episode of the Working Dog’s latest season saw the debut of comedian Aaron Chen.

HYBPA was closely followed by Lego Masters, which aired to 734,000 metro viewers on Nine. Meanwhile, 638,000 metro viewers watched Big Brother on Seven, and another 623,000 tuned into MasterChef Australia on Ten.

604,000 metro viewers watching Home And Away and 1.056 million watching Seven News (the #1 overall program of the evening) helped Seven to an overall network share win.

Seven took a 27.8% network share, ahead of Nine with 26.1%, meanwhile Ten had a healthy 22.6% ahead of the ABC on 15.5%.

The aforementioned Seven News was the top-rating program, but four news programs all brought in over a million metro viewers. Nine News had 1.039 million, Nine News 6:30 had 1.025 million, and Seven News At 6.30 had 1.012 million.

Ten took out the #1 multi-channel on the evening as well, with 10 Bold holding a 4.0% share.
