Honda Australia consolidates agency roster with Leo Burnett and ZO

Honda-logo-300x631-230x48Car manufacturer Honda Australia has  announced a consolidation of its marketing service agencies moving all its work to Leo Burnett (Melbourne) and  ZenithOptimedia (Melbourne).

While both those agencies were already on the Honda roster, the move sees the company drop digitally-focused STW-owned  DT and independent creative shop Advertising Associates.

“We have enjoyed a positive and mutually beneficial relationship with all our marketing service providers. We are very grateful for their efforts and wish them every success for the future,” said Stephen Collins Director of Honda Australia Director.

“This decision will enable us to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency from our marketing activities to ensure that the Honda brand continues to thrive in Australia.”

Last year DT created the Hondatrope for the brand as part of its sponsorship of the Sydney Festival.

The changes will take effect from April 1, 2014.
