‘Honoured to be selected’: Kimberly-Clark concludes global creative and media review
Kimberly-Clark – the parent company of consumer goods including Huggies, Kleenex, U by Kotex, Poise, and more – has concluded a global creative and media review, choosing OMG, WPP, and IPG.
A Kimberly-Clark spokesperson confirmed the appointments to Mumbrella this week.
On the creative side, Kimberly-Clark has split up global duties between WPP and IPG.
WPP will be responsible for its baby and child care and adult care brands, while IPG will lead creative for the family care and feminine care portfolios.
“WPP is honoured to be selected as Kimberly-Clark’s global creative partner for their largest division with baby and child care and one of the largest growth opportunities with their adult care division,” WPP said in a statement.
IPG’s global CEO, Philippe Krakowsky, said: “This achievement speaks to the talent, learning mindset, and shared focus on creative excellence that defines our company. When fully onboarded, Kimberly-Clark is set to represent one of Interpublic’s top global consumer creative partners, reinforcing the power of our talent-first, creatively-led, and data-centric integration model.”
Meanwhile, for media duties, OMG has consolidated responsibilities for all markets outside of North America and South Korea, taking over GroupM’s Mindshare which held the account locally.
Publicis Groupe will continue as the partner for the US business, and has also picked up Canada to provide a more holistic approach for the North American region.
A Kimberly-Clark spokesperson told Mumbrella: “We are excited and eager to get to work with our partners ahead.”
Mumbrella has contacted OMG and WPP for comment.
