Hunted takes entertainment crown on VOZ week 30 report
Hunted has topped entertainment in the latest Total TV Top 20 Programs Consolidated 7 Audience VOZ report for television Week 30.
In the report, covering 27 July to 23 July, the entertainment program had a total of 1.293million viewers nationally, with BVOD contributing 7% of the audience, with a total BVOD audience of 84,000 nationally.
Speaking to Mumbrella last month, Endemol Shine director of content, Marty Benson, said, “It’s the most exciting content I have ever produced in my 25 years in the industry.”
Paramount ANZ’s partnership director, Effect, Tamar Hovagimian described the commercial value this new format will bring advertisers.
“This show presents a really exciting opportunity for brands to be brave with the way they think about content and how they can integrate it – we can have a lot of fun with it!” said Hovagimian.
Overall, in the top spot was Seven News which had a total of 1.583 million viewers, and a total BVOD audience of 36,000.
Seven News at 6:30 was in second spot overall, with 1.502 million viewers nationally, while Seven News on Sunday came in the third spot with a total TV audience of 1.486 million. Nine News on Sunday took the fourth spot with a total audience of 1.296 million viewers.
Of the top 20 programs, Seven had 7 spots in the top 20, with 4 spots going to Seven News, 1 spot to The Chase Australia, 1 spot to Home and Away, and 1 spot going to The Best of the Best and Worst of Red Faces.
Nine had 6 programs in the top 20, with Nine News taking 4 spots, 1 spot for Beauty and the Geek, and 1 spot for A Current Affair.
Ten had 4 spots in the top 20, 3 spots for a new format, Hunted, and 1 spot for Have You Been Paying Attention.
The ABC had 3 spots in the top 20, 2 spots going to ABC News, and 1 spot for Gruen.
