Ikon Brisbane wins Tourism & Events Queensland media account

Brisbane-based media agency Ikon has won the media planning account for Tourism & Events Queensland, following a competitive pitch process.

The account win will see Ikon assist in promoting the experiences available to travellers when visiting Queensland.

Shelley Cook, agency director at Ikon Brisbane, said in a statement: “Our approach was a consumer-centric, data-driven and relevant strategy, applicable across all stages of the travel purchase journey. It’s all about smarter ways to ensure high-value Aussie travellers see the content that aligns with their individual interests and unique travel behaviours.”

Michael Branagh, Tourism & Events Queensland’s group executive of global marketing, added: “We aim to inspire the world to experience the best address of Earth and Ikon will now be a key part in helping us continue to achieve that goal.”
