ICC calls PR pitch for Cricket World Cup in Australia and NZ

The International Cricket Council has invited expressions of interest to represent the body’s PR interests in the lead up to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

The World Cup will be played across Australia and New Zealand and has local organising committees in both Melbourne and Wellington.

The service will include marketing and comms, in partner with creative and other agencies, across a range of platforms in Australia and New Zealand but also key markets such as South Africa, India, USA and the UK. Therefore the ICC is only looking for agencies that can operate on a global scale.

The ICC has said critical to the success of the campaign will be ‘bespoke research, market segmentation, and the latest PR techniques such as integration of digital elements into campaigns’ as well as experience and insight in major events and cricket culture.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 10am on Thursday January 31 with further infromation available on the ICC’s website.
