Life can be tough as a media innovator.
Foxtel boss Kim Williams told a Sydney audience that the company is anticipating a string of angry calls from consumers unable to watch next Monday’s Australian-first 3D Socceroos game because they don’t have the right set or special glasses, but didn’t realise they needed them.
He revealed: “I know that next Monday evening we are going to receive a call storm of thousands and thousands of our magnificent subscribers offering us comment and feedback on that experience.”

Sometimes you can tell people and tell people and they still won’t listen.
Of course those same subscribers could go to foxtel’s homepage, (which incidentally is nothing but hype for the 3d game and tells you exactly what you need: http://www.foxtel.com.au/default.htm) properly pay attention to just one televised ad, or read the information they’ve been mailed……
