Keep Left wins the PR account for the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel

Marketing and communications agency, Keep Left, has been appointed as the national public relations partner for the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel.

The agency will be working with Melbourne Star’s in-house sales and marketing teams to manage its external communications and increase brand exposure and visitation.

Keep Left’s remit includes public relations, influencer management, strategic partnerships and events.

Melbourne Star Observation Wheel’s head of sales and marketing, Nicole Hill, explained that the appointment of Keep Left is a part of a plan to reposition the landmark from a tourist attraction to an experiential venue.

“Melbourne Star Observation Wheel has been successfully operating as an attraction for six years, and we continue to see significant visitation growth from both local and international markets,” Hill said.

“Bringing Keep Left on board is a strategic move to position Melbourne Star as an intrinsic part of Melbourne – a natural extension of the city’s popular events, celebrations and must-do tourist itinerary.”

Keep Left CEO, Caroline Catterall, said: “The addition of Melbourne Star Observation Wheel to Keep Left’s diverse portfolio leverages industry expertise across our strategy, creative, PR and digital and experience departments – as well as the teams’ passion for the industry.

In October, Keep Left hired Helen Neville as senior art director, heading up its creative department with lead video creative Ant Dinham.
