Kyle & Jackie O executive producer Bruno Bouchet to depart

Bruno Bouchet, the executive producer of Kiis FM breakfast show The Kyle & Jackie O Show will depart the company at the end of the year.

Bouchet was appointed executive producer of the leading Sydney FM breakfast show in 2017, replacing Nic McClure, who was appointed EP after the 2Day FM breakfast show defected to Kiis FM.

Bruno Bouchet was named EP of ‘The Kyle & Jackie O Show’ in late 2016

Prior to his appointment, Bouchet was the creative content manager for the breakfast show, a role which he joined after his time as national sales and marketing manager at Casio Timepiece.

Bouchet left his first producer role on the Kyle & Jackie O show in 2012, after a series of jokes on Twitter about a US massacre.

An ARN spokesperson told Mumbrella Bouchet had decided not to renew his contract.

“Breakfast radio hours are intense and after two years of 2am alarms and long days, he’s trading that in to spend more time with his young family and is moving on to a new role outside of radio,” a spokesperson said.

“In the coming week, we’re excited to be announcing the new executive producer to work with Kyle, Jackie and the Kiis team.”

In the last five years at Kiis, breakfast co-hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson have had three executive producers: Bouchet, McClure and Simon Greally.

In the most recent radio ratings survey, Sandilands and Henderson returned to the FM breakfast ratings crown with a 10.2% share.
