Lush campaign backs gay marriage

Cosmetics brand Lush has launched a campaign to back same-sex marriage.

The brand has hooked up with advocacy group Australian Marriage Equality to pressure the federal government to pass proposed amendments to the Australian Marriage Act.

The campaign will see Lush turn its shops in campaign centers, where people can drop in to learn about marriage equality and sign a petition asking the government to take action.

The brand has also created a soap product called The Freedom Foamer Bubble Bar, the sales from which will go towards the Australian Marriage Equality’s campaign to end marriage discrimination.

Lush also backed a recent banned campaign to oppose testing on animals.
