Make-A-Wish brings its Trees of Joy to Australia

Make-A-Wish Australia is excited to launch its inaugural Trees of Joy event in Australia.

Trees of Joy is a unique and immersive festive opportunity where supporters can sponsor a Christmas tree and are paired with a wish child to customise it just for them – bringing each child’s vision to life.

The trees are then unveiled at an invitation-only, in-person event where supporters meet their wish kids, hear their stories of courage, and celebrate the joy of the season.

Following the event, the trees will be delivered to the homes of wish families for them to keep forever.

Trees of Joy will take place on 29 November at Sheraton Melbourne, and registration is now open until 21 October, with limited spots available.

Make-A-Wish grants life-changing wishes to critically ill children. Currently, there are 900 children on their Wish Journey in Australia.

Make-A-Wish Australia CEO Sally Bateman said she is delighted to launch Trees of Joy in Australia.

“This event is a wonderful opportunity to bring wish families, our corporate partners, and the community together, to spread hope and joy during the festive season and help grant future wishes to children with critical illnesses.”
