M&C Saatchi Melbourne appoints Kenny Hill as MD, ‘If you’d like to talk, I’m all ears’

The Melbourne office of M&C Saatchi, a much reduced force after the loss of key client ANZ last year, has hired former staffer Kenny Hill as managing director.

His appointment follows the move of Melbourne MD Jo Rosario to the much bigger Sydney office to run the $100m CommBank account, which the agency won in February.

Hill re-joins M&C after a 10-month spell at 303Lowe as head of business development. He was previously group head at M&C Saatchi Sydney before moving to a role as group business diretor at DDB Sydney.

M&C Saatchi Melbourne, which is down to 12 staff, has staged something of a recovery following the loss of ANZ. It has picked up law firm Slater & Gordon, CPA Australia, Melbourne Recital Centre and Holden brand Opel, which it recently launched into the Australian market.

M&C Saatchi Australia MD David Whittle said of the Hill hire: “Kenny is a seasoned and proven operator with tremendous leadership capabilities. He has a passion for great ideas. We welcome Kenny back with open arms.”

Hill added: “It’s such an great time to be back in the business. If you’d like to talk, I’m all ears.”
