Mumbrella Publish Awards return for 2025 with two new categories
Two new award categories have been added to the publishing industry’s biggest and longest running awards, the 2025 Mumbrella Publish Awards.
Now in their 29th year, the awards are now open with 27 categories up for grabs span editorial, design, branded content, video, sales, audio, events among others.
This year will see the addition of two new categories – Award for Innovation and Emerging Publication of the Year.
The scope for the Award for Innovation category is deliberately wide. It could, for example, be a new marketing strategy, adopting new technology including AI, a new advertising execution, new ways of handling relationships with partners, fresh approaches to people and culture, creative or efficiency ingenuity. Think of this category as the ‘I wish I had thought of that’ award.
The Emerging Publication of the Year category is designed to recognise excellence in all aspects of publishing from editorial content, design, production, commercial success and more. However, entrants must be no more than two years old (at the beginning of the judging period). Refer to the call for entry criteria for further information.
Important dates for your diary:
- 27 June 2025: first entry deadline
- 4 July 2025: final entry deadline
- 7 August 2025: shortlist announcement
