My Kitchen Rules dominates key demographics, takes Seven to Wednesday night ratings win
Seven’s My Kitchen Rules has topped the key advertising demographics, 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.
Airing at 7.30pm on Seven, MKR’s Kim and Suong were the first team to make it through to the 2018 grand final, attracting 1.221m metro viewers, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.
My Kitchen Rules was the most watched program of the evening beating Nine’s Young Sheldon, which managed 737,000 metro viewers, and Ten’s Meghan Markle: American Princess, which failed to make the top 20.
ABC’s panel show Gruen returned to television last night with 734,000 metro viewers and was significantly down on last year’s debut of 903,000.
In the news battle for the evening, Seven News at 6pm averaged 1.028m metro viewers topping Nine News’ 899,000 viewers.
Seven won the night with an overall audience share of 23.9% ahead of Nine’s 19%, ABC’s 13.7%, Ten’s 9.2% and SBS’ 5.1% share.
I think this was fixed as there is no way they should have won over the brothers. The dessert they put was hammered by the judges. So each team had one bad dish. Total fix.
