MYOB launches new SME-targeted campaign with The Royals

Tax and accounting business MYOB is promoting its new online automated system for SMEs, MYOB Business, with an integrated campaign via The Royals and Ryvalmedia.

Building on the insight that SMEs hate feeling stuck in an unproductive cycle, the campaign calls on small business owners to Get ‘Good Busy’ rather than getting stuck with long to-do lists, bags of receipts and bags under eyes. By streamlining and automating financial tasks and admin, MYOB Business gives small business owners the freedom to spend their time productively to grow their business.

The campaign, which consists of TV, radio, out-of-home, digital and social was created by The Royals in partnership with MYOB’s in-house agency. MYOB is a foundation client for former CUB marketing director Chris Maxwell’s Lution agency, which launched earlier this year. Lution aims to assist brands plan and implement an in-house agency to bring core digital, marketing and media capabilities closer to the business.

MYOB head of marketing and digital, Jane Betschel, said: “Every business owner understands there’s different kinds of busy. With the help of The Royals, we’re showing them that MYOB can allow them to be on the right side of busy by freeing up their focus to do the things that will propel their business forward.

“We know the pandemic has been tough on small businesses. Our data shows that in locked down states, cash deposits are in decline and invoice creation has decreased. Our whole purpose as a platform is to ensure a business owner’s precious minutes all count toward priority activities that allow them to recover and grow.”

Founder of MYOB and former board member at Xero, Craig Winkler, is a member of the recently launched Million Dollar Vax Alliance.

MYOB Australia has appointed Ryvalmedia to its media account earlier this year. The account was previously with Vizeum.
