New low for George Negus

Ten’s 6PM With George Negus slipped to a new low of 354,000 on Thursday night.

Meanwhile Seven News rated 1.094m and Nine News rated 1.046m. Ironically for Negus, his audience on Ten has declined to almost the level of his former Dateline audience on SBS1 which averaged just under 300,000 last year.

It was a slow night across the board with not a single entertainment program bringing in more than 1m viewers, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

Ten’s The Biggest Loser fared best among the entertainment shows, averaging 971,000.
