Cloud software company Nutanix has appointed Jordan Reizes as vice president for marketing in the Asia Pacific and Japanese markets.

“We are delighted to have secured a true regional leader of Jordan’s calibre. The explosion of data and the shift to cloud continues to create unprecedented opportunities for our customers and partners,” said senior vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan, Matt Young.

“Jordan’s leadership, experience and recognised expertise will be instrumental in helping Nutanix ensure they are able to capitalise on those opportunities.”

In the local market, Reizes will work closely with head of marketing Liselle Porfirio and country managing director Jamie Humphrey.

“We have a fantastic story to tell, proven and pioneering technology to back it up, and one of the most dynamic marketing teams in the region to drive it home,” said Reizes.

“There is a great deal of complexity and clutter facing businesses out there when it comes to their technology needs for the future. Nutanix is here to simplify their choices and help sustain their growth and profitability in a rapidly changing digital world.”

Humphrey added that Reizes’ Sydney location indicates the importance of the local market.

“Having our regional marketing lead, based in Sydney, is a clear sign of the importance Nutanix places on the Australia and New Zealand market, and is a real boost to the local team,” Humphrey said.

“We’ll now be tapping into Jordan’s extensive expertise as we look to ensure our customers have the technologies they require to maintain their competitive advantage.”

Nutanix plans to move into its new Sydney-based ANZ headquarters in late October.
