Officework launches new spot in ‘Everything for Growing Minds’ campaign

Officeworks has rolled out its new ad, seeking to capitalise on the new school year by linking growing minds to school supplies.

The 30-second television commercial by AJF Partnership follows a young girl’s journey through school, with a voice-over listing the developmental milestones the brain achieves at different ages.

The slogan “Find everything for growing minds” concludes the ad, which aims to highlight the importance of school supplies in developing critical thinking skills throughout the schooling journey.

Officeworks boasts 163 retailers nationally, but the campaign seeks to drive traffic to their online ‘Back to School’ shop, where consumers can locate a number of articles and videos about preparing students for the new school year.

Karl Winther, Officeworks’ national marketing manager, said: “Officeworks wants to shine a light on the crucial role school supplies play in children’s education journey and help them prepare for the school year ahead.

“Our marketing activity seeks to inspire parents to see the ‘Back to School’ shop as an important part of helping their child’s development, hero-ing the role school supplies play in bringing out the best in their child,” he said.

Officeworks will also continue to support Australian charity The Smith Family, by fundraising for its ‘Back to School’ Appeal.

The campaign will extend to print, radio, outdoor, catalogue, cinema and digital display.
