Optus Business re-appoints Ogilvy to creative and PR accounts

Telecommunications company Optus has re-appointed WPP’s Ogilvy to its Optus Business creative and PR accounts.

The account win will see Ogilvy handle Optus Business’ strategy, creative, social, content, PR and digital accounts.

Ogilvy’s re-appointment to the Optus Business account follows its recent Optus Small and Medium Business account win.

David Caspari, VP sales and marketing at Optus Business, said in a statement: “Ogilvy has worked in close collaboration with us for the last 3 years – they understand our business, the B2B landscape, and are committed to helping us challenge our status quo. They bring innovative thinking to our organisation.”

Sally Kissane, managing partner at Ogilvy Sydney, added: “We look forward to continuing our work with Optus Business and helping further establish them as network and IT solutions company for Australian businesses.

“They are constantly striving to innovate, and change the game for themselves and their customers – which aligns well with the goals we at Ogilvy have set for ourselves. So, we’re thrilled to have such a company on our roster.”

In March Optus overhauled its marketing roster appointing 72andSunny as its lead creative agency.
