Optus, Usain Bolt and Mash’d n Kutcher create summer inspired music video

Optus has partnered with Olympic runner Usain Bolt, DJ’s Mash’d n Kutcher and content agency Emotive to create a short music video which aims to capture “the feeling of summer”.

The music video clip titled ‘Summer Set Free’ is inspired by Bolt’s hometown and his passion for music.

Bolt said the video clip aims to get people into both the party and holiday spirit.

“I grew up listening to Jamaican music and absolutely love it, so I’m excited to see how people embrace this mix. Working with Mash’d N Kutcher, Optus and some very cool dancehall dancers
was a lot of fun and I love what we’ve been able to produce.”

Corin Dimopoulos, head of TV and content at Optus, noted the clip promotes Optus’ music streaming data free offering.

“The last thing we want Optus customers worrying about is whether they can stream music without going over their data, which is why we’ve put in place data free music streaming on select mobile plans. That means whether you’re at the beach, a friend’s house or visiting family, you won’t have to worry about whether or not you can stream your favourite music,” Dimopoulos said.
