Party People radio show to be broadcast monthly from Sydney club
MCM Media and Southern Cross Austereo have teamed up with Sydney’s Trademark Hotel to broadcast dance music show Party People live from the club once a month.

MCM Media is delighted to announce a new partnership between Australia’s biggest dance radio show, Party People and Trademark Hotel in Sydney’s Kings Cross. The relationship kicks off with a special launch event for the first live broadcast on Friday 29th July with guest host Kyle Sandilands and Party People’s own Ruby Rose, and featuring special guests Sneaky Sound System.
Party People is produced by MCM Media in collaboration with Southern Cross Austereo, and broadcast on Friday and Saturday nights across Austereo’s Today Network to more than 600,000 people every week.
MCM Media’s National Sales Director, Matt Tindale, is excited by the evolution of the Party People brand, saying today, “Party People is an incredibly successful partnership between MCM Media and Southern Cross Austereo, and I’m delighted we’ve been able to up the ante and take the program to a whole new level for both our broadcast and advertising partners.”
Trademark Hotel, recognised as one of the party capital’s premier clubs, will open its doors to dance music fans on the last Friday of each month to welcome the weekend with Party People’s stellar blend of pop, R&B and dance party anthems, along with old skool classics and exclusive remixes from local and international DJs. Listeners from around the country will have the chance to hook into the action throughout the year, with Party People providing lucky winners with VIP trips to Sydney and access to the country’s biggest on-air party.
For advertisers, it’s an opportunity to incorporate live event activations at one of the premiere clubs in Sydney’s famous Kings Cross, alongside a national radio platform reaching 64 stations. Targeting 18 – 29 year olds who are out and about partying on weekends, the Party People brand is an impactful and multifaceted media solution, particularly for the alcohol, mobile, automotive, entertainment and fast food categories.
Party People’s dynamic team showcases two of the country’s hottest female DJ’s – Ruby Rose and Havana Brown – along with the effervescent Maude Garrett and radio gurus Tim Lee and Matty Acton. To ensure a spontaneous and fresh listening experience every week, the Party People crew mixes it up and shares slots across the weekend.
Party People airs every Friday night from 10pm – 1am and Saturday night from 7pm – 1am, nationally on the Today Network (2Day FM, FOX FM, B105, SAFM and 92.9) and on a broad network of 59 regional stations across the country.
