Placard Media locks in podcast partnership with Omny Studio

Specialist podcasting agency, Placard Media, has locked in a partnership with podcast host Omny Studio to link Australian and New Zealand audio publishers with advertisers and sponsors.

As part of the agreement, Placard Media will provide all Omny Studio podcasts with access to their clients.

Sharon Taylor, CEO of Omny Studio, said the company was thrilled to provide podcasters with “new revenue opportunities.”

“Working closely with Placard Media we’re able to help match shows on the platform with the right brand for them, provide advice and support on the monetisation process and keep working with them to grow their show,” Taylor said.

Placard Media CEO, Andy Hayes, said the partnership was a win-win.

“The response we’ve received from podcasters to date is fantastic,” Hayes said.

“Podcasters are committed to their craft and wish to retain their credibility and control.  Placard Media has been established to support that, as well as recognise that brands want to maximise their marketing budget by reaching engaged listeners.

He said the company’s work with Omny will allow podcasts and brands to make important connections.

“The model will see creators maintain control, with the ability to deliver ads in partnership with the brands, meaning a better outcome for both as the Australian market continues to grow,” he said.

Placard Media also works with Melbourne based podcast network, Nearly.
