Poor night for Ten, The Renovators beaten by Top Gear

Not a single Network Ten program came close to 1m viewers in the Tuesday night ratings, with Modern Family its biggest hitting show – with 858,000.

In a sign of how bad things have come for The Renovators, the Ten show was beaten by Nine’s Top Gear. The home improvement show, which improved its ratings compared to Monday night, pulled in just 710,000.

Seven’s Winners & Losers won The Renovator’s 8.30pm timeslot with 1.274m. But Nine’s The Block, which aired at 7pm, won the night with an audience of 1.391m, according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.

It was another close-run tussle at breakfast, with Sunrise beating Today by 21,000 viewers.
