Porter Novelli appoints Tourism Australia global PR head as Sydney managing director
Porter Novelli Australia has appointed the global head of public relations for Tourism Australia Tamsyn Alley as its managing director in Sydney.
Alley, who has more than 20 years of industry experience, fills the gap left by Annalise Brown, who was picked up by Bang PR earlier this year.
Porter Novelli Australia chief executive Peter Kent said: “Tamsyn knows business, she’s worked in senior corporate, government and consulting roles and has been accountable for tangible reputation, brand, digital and sales results.”
Alley added: “The calibre and experience of the Sydney team and the exceptional resources of the network, gives Porter Novelli the ability to deliver innovative, integrated and wide-ranging communications solutions for Australia’s leading consumer and corporate brands.
“It’s a premier agency and an exciting time to be joining, so I couldn’t be more pleased to be taking on the role.”
Prior to joining Tourism Australia, Alley worked for Flight Centre, SKYCITY Entertainment Group, and the South Australian Lotteries Comission.
Porter Novelli is part of the Clemenger Group.
