Porter’s Paints get warm and fuzzy via Thinkerbell

DuluxGroup’s premium paint brand, Porter’s Paints has launched a new brand platform, ‘Paint with heart and soul’, via Thinkerbell.

The platform launches with an integrated campaign, featuring a 30 second TVC as well as online, print and social.

Mumbrella understands the campaign comes as the agency has expanded its relationship with DuluxGroup, after being appointed to the business’ B&D Group brand in August 2020.

DDB is the current creative agency of record for DuluxGroup, appointed in October 2021.

The work demonstrates the depth-of–feeling colour can evoke, playing out the everyday moments of different stages of a young couple’s life, who are represented as silhouettes on the backdrop of painted walls.

Jill Every, sales and marketing manager at Porter’s Paints, said: “When developing this new brand platform, we wanted to highlight that it’s not just how a room looks, that matters, but it’s also how it feels when you walk in.”

Olivia Romas, lead creative tinker, Thinkerbell, added: “We wanted Porter’s Paints to disrupt the rational category norms with some emotion, in a visually distinctive way. The colours of Porter’s Paints, along with the evocative shadows, and the crafted soundtrack capture the feeling of living in a beautifully painted room.”

The work launched on national TV on Monday, and will continue to roll out across online, print and social.
